The top-selling subcompact SUV, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza from the Indian biggest passenger carmaker has recently crossed the sales mark of 50,000 units in the country. The Vitara Brezza has launched in the month of March 2016 and already received more than 1 lakh bookings in the Indian market. In Just seven months of the period, it is the best achievement for Vitara Brezza, which is one of the top-selling SUV in the domestic market.
Till the August, the company has sold 47,047 units of Vitara Brezza and now Maruti Suzuki considers the September month sales, the total sales reached to more than 50,000 units. As per the estimation, the Indo-Japanese car maker has believed that it will have around 11,000 to 12,000 unit’s sales in September 2016.
Vitara Brezza from Maruti was the latest entrant in the demanding compact SUV segment, even though it has been playing a vital role in that segment and targeted the segment well-players, Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport. The new Maruti SUV has managed to cross the Hyundai Creta, which is the top selling UV in the present market, in the starting months. Maruti Suzuki is expected that the Vitara Brezza will gain the top spot in the September month.
The Maruti Vitara Brezza helped the company to increase its UV market share to 24 percent in the month of August 2016. In the year-ago month, Maruti Suzuki holds just 14% of market share.

The company has hiked the prices of the Vitara Brezza by around Rs. 20,000 based upon the variant due to the demand of the product. Moreover, the company has increased the production capacity of compact SUV to decrease the long waiting period.
Apart from this, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, India-made premium hatchback, has crossed 1 lakh unit sales mark in the domestic market only. The booking orders for the Vitara Brezza and Baleno will most probably at the higher side in the coming Diwali season.
