Mahindra e2o (4-door) to launch in this month

The biggest UV carmaker has been introduced the 2-door small hatchback, Mahindra e2o which is fully driven by the electric drive system. Currently, Mahindra is working on the four-door version of the Mahindra e2o, which will most probably schedule to launch in this month (October 2016). The production-ready models of four-door version have been spied on the roads for several times with the exterior cover.

The overall look of the four-door model will identical to its current two-door model, but the new one will feature the distinct equipment and specifications. The four-door Mahindra e2o is longer than its sister model and offered with the high mounted LED stop lamp and the latest LED taillights.

The upcoming model is to be revised in terms of design and featured the latest front and rear bumper and wheel covers. Similarly, the interior of the Mahindra e2o 4-door will receive the additional features like central infotainment system, digital instrument cluster and App-Connect.

The existing one gets the 25bhp of power at 3,750rpm and the torque of 54Nm at 0 to 3,400rpm from the electric motor that is packed with the 48V lithium-ion battery pack. The outgoing one can avail at 81kmph of top speed and run up to 120km with the fully charged battery.

The four-door model is expected to get the larger battery pack to run extra distance, but there is no confirmation at all. The upcoming 4-door model will be priced around Rs 7lakhs to Rs. 10 lakhs in the domestic market.
